Andy Miller, President & CEO
Prior to starting Lumifi, Andy founded Quece LLC, a developer of semantic search technology, as well as RetirementSuite,com, an online exchange platform serving the 401k industry.  He was also an advisor and board member of StockCar Stocks Mutual Fund.  In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Andy has held various positions leading technology development efforts including that as Director of E-Commerce at PFPC, Assistant Vice President of Retail INternet Services at T. Rowe Price, and other positions at Putnam Investments and Bank of America.  Andy holds a Masters in Entrepreneurial Studies from Suffolk University and a BA in Economics from the State University of New York, College at Oswego.  He is a member of the Entrepreneur Leadership Council at Suffolk University.
Danny Espinoza, Chief Technology Officer
Danny is a software designer and application developer with over 20 years of professional experience and numerous commercial titles to his credit. Prior to starting Lumifi, Danny served as CTO at Quece LLC, a developer of semantic search technology.  He also founded and currently owns Mesa Dynamics LLC, a developer of applications that bridge the desktop and the web.  Danny has also held senior technology positions at eMotion, TeraGlobal Coommunications, Multimedia Design Corporation, and DARPA.  He holds a BS in Operations Research and Information Engineering from Cornell University.
Jeff Ploughman, Vice President of Engineering
Jeff brings 20 years of experience leading the development of elite, enterprise-class software.  His technical expertise is the construction of massively scalable and secure Internet applications.  Prior to joining Lumifi, Jeff was a lead architect for the UPS web-based package tracking portal, whose forward-leaning design supports millions of hits daily against one of the world’s largest online databases.  He was also a lead architect for Enterasys Dragon, the preferred Intrusion Detection System for much of the Fortune 100.  Jeff was also the principal engineer for SafeNet’s Secure Management Console, a highly available, fault tolerant secure network management product whose clientele include NSA, DISA, DHS and the SWIFT Financial Network.  Jeff has held other senior technology positions at SummitLogic and Business Bots.  He holds a BS in Applied Mathematics and a BS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
Todd Crandell, Chief Marketing Officer
Todd was previously President of Venture Strategies, Ltd., a consulting firm dedicated to helping technology entrepreneurs articulate their vision.  Clients included Codign Software, Transformational Space Corporation, and Quece LLC.  Todd has served as Director of Business Development for Smith Growth Partners, engaging companies like Intuit, Vertis, Hunter Douglas, and Object Video in corporate messaging and marketing communication strategies.  He has consulted engineers at Intel, BAE Systems, and Northrop Gruman in the production of custom fabricated materials for handling of complex fragile electronic devices.  Todd also served as coach and organizer for the MIT Enterprise Forum, an organization formed by MIT alumni dedicated to providing resources, advice, and connections for technology entrepreneurs.  A former NCAA Division I wrestler, Todd attended Rider University and the University of Baltimore.
